So, which is it ... a ghost hunt, or an
investigation, and is there a difference? Yes, there differences
between a ghost hunt and a paranormal investigation. What are they?
A
ghost hunt is an attempt to find, witness, and/or record "ghosts",
"spirits" and other paranormal activity at a location that has had no
known paranormal activity reported. Likely places to do ghost hunts are
cemeteries, old churches, abandoned buildings etc. Most or all of the
same equipment used during an investigation can or may be used during a
ghost hunt.
An investigation is an attempt to witness and record
"ghosts", "spirits" and other paranormal activity at a location that
has had possible reported, or witnessed activity. Usually the
witness/witnesses have called a paranormal research team to come
investigate, for the purpose of finding out if what they are
"experiencing" is paranormal in nature, or not.
